This year Berowra Apex Club celebrates its 40th birthday, and we’re throwing a party! We would love to see all past members and their partners there for some food, drinks and to reminisce about the good old days. The party will be held at Berowra RSL on Saturday 4th November at 7:30pm. See the flyer for more details.

Apex has a proud history serving the Berowra community. The first meeting to establish a Club in Berowra was held in 1976. In December 1977 we received our Charter and thus became a fully fledged Apex Club.

In the early days Service schemes took priority, such as cleaning up the seven barbecue areas that were on Berowra Waters Road leading down to the ferry. Doing repairs and mowing for elderly residents. Fund raising gradually took over and we sold numerous Azalea plants. Cash a can was also quite lucrative. Now it’s the Woodchop, Santa Sleigh and Christmas tree sales.

All in all the Berowra community is in good hands thanks to Apex and the other Service Clubs. We encourage anyone who is interested in giving something back to the community to consider joining Apex.
