Woodchop is back and bigger than ever on Sunday August 22nd from 10am-4pm. A Berowra institution, the event had been run continuously since 1994 until 2020 when COVID got in our way.
Over the years it has become a major event on both the NSW Axemen’s Association and the Berowra community calendar.
Whats new?
More stalls, more live entertainment, more food trucks, more amusements and with a relocation to Warrina Street Oval, far more space for a family day out.
Whats staying the same?
A free community event run by the community for the community.
Woodchop is made possible by support from Berowra Village Tavern, Hornsby Shire Council and McGrath Real Estate.
The incredible support and in all previous years hosting of this event by the Berowra Village Tavern allows the event to continue and we and the Berowra Community are incredibly grateful!
The team at McGrath Real Estate Berowra have been long time supporters of Woodchop consistently donating their time and for raffle prizes over the years. This year we are grateful for their sponsorship of the event, allowing us to continue to provide this free event for the community.
There will be plenty for the whole family to enjoy including world class competitive Woodchopping, live music, carnival rides for all ages, market and food stalls. All money raised goes back into the community to support the Rural Fire Service, Berowra Scouts and Apex projects.
